Analyst/Senior Analyst

Promotion to Associate after 2-3 years, based on performance.

Role Overview

  • Collaborate with Dexter’s Deal Makers on due diligence (DD) execution.
  • Simultaneously engage in investment banking tasks.

Compensation Overview

Year 1

Total CTC: ₹17L

  • Fixed Compensation:₹12L
  • Benefits:₹1L
  • Performance Bonus:₹4L

Year 2

Total CTC: ₹21L

  • Fixed Compensation:₹15L
  • Benefits:₹1L
  • Performance Bonus:₹5L

Year 3

Total CTC: ₹23L

  • Fixed Compensation:₹16L
  • Benefits:₹1L
  • Performance Bonus:₹6L

Role Progression Path

  • Initial role involves DD (Due Diligence / Backend role)
  • Over time, individuals are expected to transition into a front-end role

Lateral Hiring Framework

  • 1. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience → Considered for SF / IF roles
  • 2. Candidates with more than 3 years of experience → Evaluated through the standard hiring process

Compensation Benchmarking (Lateral Hiring)

  • 3–6 years of experience → Aligned with Year 1 compensation structure
  • 6–9 years of experience → Aligned with Year 2 compensation structure
  • 9+ years of experience → Aligned with Year 3 compensation structure

Hiring Criteria

Experience

Candidates with Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) or Financial Due Diligence (FDD) experience from

  • Big 6 firms (EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, GT & BDO)
  • Consulting firms like Praxis, RedSeer, Auctus
  • Consulting KPOs such as Bain Capability Centre, McKinsey Knowledge Centre, etc.

Must Have

  • Completed 5+ CDD/FDD assignments focused on the Indian startup ecosystem (any sector: AgriTech, FinTech, HealthTech, E-commerce, B2B, EV, EdTech, etc.)

Mandatory

  • CFA Level 2 certification
